Farade Nicolas is a multidisciplinary artist born in Fort-de-France, Martinique. He currently lives and works between Paris and Seoul. Using a primary palette, I aim to create interdimensional spaces. A place where space-time is in motion, where curves meet lines, expand, and intersect. A manifestation of my mental state during isolation, these paintings represent a state of Presence, a Presence to oneself, as well as to one’s environment, allowing for self-observation.
The mind can thus flourish without constraint, leaving room for creativity, intuition, and concentration. With these drawings, the hope is to convey something about energy, seeds that germinate...
It is an invitation to connect with oneself, a solitary and experimental journey through consciousness, towards an infinite race. Somewhere in between...

Presence was born from the need to a spiritual awakening. It is a silhouette presented in a first book edition; embodying a conscience, a daily visceral introspection. Productive yet discreet, Nicolas seeks above all sincerity and peace, rejects false values, and draws closer to his true essence.
Meditation, creation, tranquility, and freedom punctuate his solitary equilibrium, a surge that reaches from the inside out. In his monochrome work, he questions identity, isolation, the purism of ultra geometric forms, a conversation with kinetic art; Presence: Act III, a synthesis of the last three years of intimacy, life, and vital journey. Edition two is a more refined version from the previous object printed two years ago. The new version contains thoughts & quotes alongside the artworks and is divided into two parts, Eutopos and Utopos, which together form the complete work: Utopia. It retraces my state of mind through the tribulations of the spirit.

SOUL CONTEMPLATION : LIMITED EDITION POSTERS.
Soul Contemplation (number 14) is an illustration made in acrylic on canvas paper. It’s a part of a series of 15 artworks that narrate a specific story. The limited edition poster is printed on a 220 g paper available in two different sizes : A3 or A2. The poster is hand-numbered, signed and delivered with a certificate of authenticity. The posters are produced locally in Seoul and are meticulously prepared and shipped in a cardboard tube.
